On Saturday, February 25, 2017, The Atrium in Victoria, BC will host the Victoria Fashion Week launch, previewing the city’s top local designers and businesses before Victoria’s first Fashion Week models strut the runway this fall.

Produced by Joseph Gonyeau, who coordinated the Fashion Splash runway shows at the Inner Harbour in 2014 and 2015, the Victoria Fashion Week launch will bring local designers to the 80-foot catwalk. Designers will include Dani Dubois, Nikki Babie, Makehouse, Trista Smith, Teresa Lindsay, Migration, Sarah Runnalls, Dellis Made and Oxford.

Joseph also brings Victoria’s best team onto the stage, with Art Directors Christina Robev, Andrew Azzopardi (Studio Robazzo), and Makeup & Hair Coordinator Melodie Reynolds (Elate Clean Cosmetics).

Profits from the launch events this February support the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre (VSAC). VSAC is a feminist organization committed to ending sexualized violence through healing, education, and prevention. They are dedicated to supporting women and all Trans survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse, through advocacy, counselling, and empowerment.
