Spring is in the air, although you wouldn’t know it from all the rain Washington has been getting since….October of last year?  The constant downpours and cloudy days aren’t stopping Cupcake Royale from brightening up your day with four yummy cupcake flavors, just in time for spring…..if it ever actually arrives.

The Grasshopper cupcake, available in March only, is a rich chocolate cake topped with Seely’s peppermint buttercream frosting, then dunked in house-made chocolate and topped with green and white sprinkles and chocolate curls. This cupcake is also available in gluten-free.

Cupcake Royale’s Carrot Walnut cupcake is a spiced carrot cake with chunky walnuts throughout and is topped with a thick swirl of rich cream cheese frosting.

The Whiskey Maple Bacon cupcake is like a dream come true on your taste buds. Available in March only, this vanilla butter cake is hand-frosted with Irish whiskey maple buttercream. Cupcake lovers can opt for it with or without bacon crumbles (I highly suggest WITH bacon crumbles, in my very humble opinion).

The Pot O’ Gold cupcake, available March 13 through 18, is made of Cupcake Royale’s award-winning rich chocolate cupcake infused with Jive Espresso Stout from Two Beers Brewery, then filled with whiskey buttercream, and as if that weren’t enough, crowned with a whipped Bailey’s Irish cream frosting.
