On March 16, I attended a fashion panel and CUSP Presentation at Neiman Marcus Bellevue, located at The Shops at the Bravern. I was honored to be the plus one of Gossip & Glamour’s, Sydney Mintle.
With a cocktail in hand, I had the chance to peruse the gorgeous pieces Neiman Marcus had available for purchase prior to the panel discussion. I fell in love with this Lindsey Fit & Flare Dress by ALICE + OLIVIA.
Attendees had the opportunity to write their Twitter and/or Instagram handle on a giant white board, which served as a back drop for the panel and also gave everyone the opportunity to find and follow other Seattleites in the fashion community!
The panel speakers included Carolyn Yuen Marino of Hey Pretty Thing, Jennifer Lovin, Wardrobe Stylist at Jennifer Lovin, Kirsty Papadopulos of The Kirsty Files and Molly Perdue of Molly’s Musings.
So what’s in for spring? Structured pieces that also flow, necklaces that can become chokers (because let’s be honest, chokers are in right now, but we all know they won’t be forever), contrasting layers, – basically, it’s all about being versatile. Turn office wear into evening wear simply by changing your shoe and jacket. Layer different textures, add sneakers to make a skirt more casual, wear the over-exaggerated hats and sunglasses, invest in the Little Black Pant – fill your spring wardrobe with individual pieces that you can mix and match to make any outfit pop.
