Gourmet Glamping returns this summer to Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes on San Juan Island!
On July 15, experience a gourmet campfire cookout led by top Pacific Northwest chef, Jeff Maxfield of SkyCity at the Needle. Maxfield’s menu will be paired with Sawtooth Winery, an award winning, limited-production winery from Idaho’s Snake River Valley. Lakedale will host its second glamping dinner on August 19 with featured winery Gilbert Cellars, a family-owned Washington winery featuring handcrafted, ultra- premium wines and a soon to be announced Northwest-based chef.
Gourmet Glamping, held at Lakedale’s gorgeous “glampground,” is made up of upscale custom-built canvas cabins and cottages placed lakeside for the ultimate in glamping experience. Each canvas cabin is complete with pillow-top beds, linens and a full-size futon. Glampers also have the option to stay in Lakedale’s newest amenity – Canvas Cottages. The 350 sq. ft. luxury glamping accommodation offers king-size beds with flannel duvet covers, en suite bathroom with shower, electricity, fireplace and daybed sleeper. Canvas cabin and cottage guests receive complimentary continental breakfast served in the Mess Tent and Lakedale’s signature Toasty Toes turndown service.
Each featured chef will share a brief overview of the dinner, engage the diners in a hands-on cooking experience, and serve a multi-course menu with wine parings selected by Northwest winemakers.
