Des Moines Marina
Rent a single or double kayak from the Olympic Outdoor Center and peacefully paddle your way across the water, or if you’re an adrenaline-junkie, Seattle Dive Tours provides equipment and guided scuba tours of the Des Moines Wreck, a 55-foot, wooden-hulled sunken ship. The marina is also home to large sailing yachts, small fishing boats and a variety of fresh seafood restaurants, such as Anthony’s Homeport.

Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market
The farm comes to you at the Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market every Saturday and Wednesdays in August! Fresh, local and sustainable are the norm at the market, which brings together more than 50 farms, crafters and food vendors by the Des Moines Marina for a relaxing shopping experience. The market is hosted at the Des Moines Marina on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from June through September and Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. in July and August.
