If you haven’t checked out the Hard Rock Cafe Seattle Saturday Sessions yet, you are missing out on the ideal Saturday afternoon with your friends!
Saturday Sessions are Vegas-style pool parties (minus the pool) taking place on the rooftop terrace every Saturday through August 26. Guests can enjoy the ultimate day party with music from local DJ Rad ‘Em and friends, food and beverage specials while taking in one of the best rooftop views in Seattle.
With my best friend visiting from the east coast, it was the perfect opportunity to invite some of my best gal pals out for an afternoon enjoying lunch and cocktails on the roof followed by playing hostess on a tour of downtown Seattle!
The Hard Rock Cafe Seattle, located on Pike Street between 1st and 2nd Ave, has incredible views of Pike Place Market and the iconic Seattle waterfront. With the summer sun kissing us all with some Vitamin D, Bloody Mary’s in hand, and DJ Rad ‘Em at the helm, we relaxed for a few hours just soaking up an incredible day.
The bartenders and staff at the Hard Rock Cafe Seattle were nothing short of fantastic and catered to the needs of everyone enjoying the rooftop. My girls and I very unfortunately hit a beach ball that knocked a nice gentleman’s full beer over, which then fell directly into his wife’s purse! Completely mortified, we scrambled to help clean and they could not have been cooler about it. We offered to buy them anything they wanted, but the Hard Rock staff took very good care of them. Thankfully, no hard feelings and the couple sat with us for another 30 minutes making fun of the whole situation! To think we were worried about hitting the beach ball off the roof……
I highly recommend catching a Saturday Session before summer ends. Bring some friends out onto the rooftop, grab your favorite beer or cocktail and literally just lounge and relax. We may break the record this summer for most days without rain, so take advantage while you can and enjoy the views!
