Punk music defined my high school and college years. One day, many many years ago (I’m talking like 1994, people!), my brother introduced me to a band called Pennywise and from there, I was hooked on all things punk. NOFX, Bad Religion, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger – you name it, I loved them. Before you could download music, before you could stream whatever you wanted, my shelves were filled with CD’s of these amazing bands that sang about life. When I heard that the iconic bands of NOFX, Bad Religion, and the like were coming to Tacoma for a craft beer and music festival – I knew this was going to be something incredibly special. Fat Mike and Mr. Brett coming to Tacoma? Can I go back in time and tell my 18 year old self this good news?
May I present to you, Punk in Drublic!!
To think I owned the NOFX album this was named after……can you tell how giddy I am about this? To this day, I have said multiple times on the proper occasion, “Oh is he a punk guy because he does does punk things?” I digress……don’t call me white….okay digression continues……
Come out to the America’s Car Museum on Saturday, September 16, 2017 for all things craft beer and punk music.
Created from the mind and liver of NOFX’s frontman Fat Mike and named for NOFX’s classic Punk In Drublic album, Punk In Drublic will feature up to four hours of craft beer tastings featuring over 100 craft beers, including some of California’s best and local favorites.
To celebrate Punk In Drublic, Fat Mike teamed up with craft beer pioneers Stone Brewing (their Mint Coffee Milk Stout is on my top ten list of favorite beers of all time) to brew their very own Stone & NOFX Punk in Drublic Hoppy Lager, which will be available in cans only in the festival markets. This collaboration is a huge show of support by Stone, as it marks the first time ever that Stone has worked with a musician for a can release. If you ever thought about keeping beer cans, you are going to want to keep these as they have even included the festival tour date on the back of each can! This is a first-of-its-kind level of commitment from a brewery partner for a festival tour.
Punk In Drublic show will feature performances from NOFX, Bad Religion, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, and Bad Cop Bad Cop (say hello to a band filled with nothing but awesome girl power!). General Admission and VIP tickets are available for purchase. All tickets include craft beer tasting and access to view the music stage. Craft beer tastings are included with admission.

Festival hours will be 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (VIP entry is noon). Complimentary tastings last until 4pm. After 4pm, we will have several types of beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks on hand to serve you drinks to purchase.
