On Wednesday, November 22, Community Pint held their first annual “Friendsgiving Junk Food Pairing.” Small plates were paired with complimentary beers and each beer was not only paired with the dish, but was a part of the dish. Couple of Chefs (owners of Bruncheonette) catered the event and were the masters behind creating the clever recipes, including spicy stone ground brown ale mustard served with German sausage, cheesy Pilsner sauce served with pretzel bites, and chocolate mocha stout sauce served with a Twinkie.

Community Pint opened in early August and has already made a name for itself in Spokane. With a great selection of premium rotating beers, a friendly knowledgeable staff, weekly trivia, live music and events like the the upcoming Firestone Walker Christmas Party and Tap Takeover on December 7. You’re sure to find a reason to visit this new mainstay in the craft beer community. Plus, they’re dog friendly!

“We’re feeling so much gratitude and thanks from these last four months of being open. Spokane, you are incredible!” TJ and Sarah Wallin, owners of Community Pint, posted on Instagram following the event. One thing’s for sure, this new taproom and its event put the friends in Friendsgiving, just as they’ve put the community in Community Pint.
