For 10 years, Make-A-Wish and Macy’s have made wishes come true through Macy’s annual Believe Campaign. A decade ago, a movement was created and millions of “Believers” of all ages lined up to drop off letters to Santa at the big red letterbox at their nearest Macy’s store or send letters online at macys.com/believe.

This year, Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington and wish kid Malakii are taking Believing to the next level. Seven-year-old Malakii lives with a life-threatening seizure disorder. It’s taken his ability to speak and to walk on his own, but it hasn’t dampened his spirit of adventure.
Malakii’s wish is all about believing. He wished to have a book about all of the make-believe adventures he’d go on with his brother and his cousin if he didn’t have physical limitations. His story is designed to show children everywhere that they are valued, and that everyone has big dreams. This is truly one of the most inspiring families you’ll ever meet!

Now through December 24, for each letter received in store or online at macys.com/believe, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, to grant the wishes for children across the country with critical illnesses.
