Punk music defined my high school and college years. One day, many many years ago (I’m talking like 1994, people!), my brother introduced me to a band called Pennywise and from there, I was hooked on all things punk. The Offspring, Against Me!, Lit, Unwritten Law – you name it, I loved them. Before you could download music, before you could stream whatever you wanted, my shelves were filled with CD’s of these amazing bands that sang about life. When I heard that these iconic bands were coming to the Pacific Northwest for a craft beer, taco and music festival – I knew this was going to be something incredibly special. Dexter Holland and Jim Lindberg are going to be a few miles from my house? Can I go back in time and tell my 18 year old self this good news?
May I present to you, the SABROSO Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival!
The SABROSO Festival will be coming to two Pacific Northwest locations in May, Auburn, WA and Portland, OR! The PNW shows will feature performances from The Offspring, Pennywise, Against Me!, Lit, Unwritten Law and Los Kung Fu Monkeys.
The SABROSO Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival, headlined by The Offspring is a day filled with craft beer, tasty gourmet tacos, Lucha Libre style wrestling and live music! The festival will feature up to four hours of craft beer tastings featuring over 100 craft beers for purchase, including some of the best local favorites. Top Lucha Libre style wrestling stars from across the globe will also take to the ring battling for the title of SABROSO Champion. There will be multiple qualifying wrestling matches throughout each festival day and one final championship match!
Festival hours will be 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (VIP entry is noon). General Admission and VIP tickets will be available for purchase. All tickets include craft beer tasting (for those 21+) and access to view the music stage.
