Over the last few years, escape rooms have popped up all over the country. While escape rooms have been a popular past time in Europe for years, it is now taking America by storm. People of all ages are now actively seeking out escape rooms to participate in the most creative, interactive and completely immersive brain puzzles of all time–and Quest Factor is giving these people what they want.

Quest Factor founders George Albantov and Sergey Fahreev are escape room masterminds. They bring it all to the table with custom designed sets, hand-crafted artwork and one-of-a-kind mind boggling storylines for each of their escape rooms. If you have an opportunity to escape one of the rooms at any of their three Quest Factor locations, the volume of hard work and artistry these men have put into their business will certainly be the first thing you notice.

The newest Quest Factor location is in Redmond, Washington; conveniently nestled about 300 feet from Black Raven Brewery, making it a prime date night location. In fact, my husband and I hit up the ‘Wich Came First (sandwich) food truck parked in front of Black Raven, and had ourselves an ice cold beer and a messy-but-delicious brisket sandwich before heading over to Quest Factor. With our bellies fat and happy, we were ready to take on two thrilling escape rooms.

The Pirates of The Caribbean room is brand new. So new, in fact, that our group was the first to give it a whirl! Once inside, we found ourselves prisoners in the underbelly of a dark pirate ship. Desperate to find our way to freedom, we worked as a team to escape the prison using only random objects placed throughout the room, and easy to miss clues hidden in everyday objects. This is the reason why this makes such a great team building activity.

The Bank Heist room was the second escape room that we tried. Arguably one of the hardest, but most popular rooms, the Bank Heist took all our wit and wisdom to complete before the 60 minute buzzer went off. Thankfully, our team was good with numbers (and we had a little help from the game master), so we were able to solve a difficult series of puzzles inside a seemingly real bank vault to steal a gigantic diamond.

Overall, the best part about Quest Factor was getting to meet and interact with new people, while still having a fun and interesting date night with my husband! It was a perfect night out with the tasty sandwich and ice-cold beer at Black Raven and the exciting, but challenging escape game quests. For the next date, we might need to start exploring popular escape room themes real soon!

  1. If you have been to their escape room then you might know how much fun it can be. I even wrote a review about their escape room to let other people know what to expect.
