The Schooner Adventuress is visiting a port near you this summer!
Over the summer the 105-year old schooner Adventuress will be visiting Olympia, Seattle, Anacortes, and Bellingham which gives you the opportunity to step on board for one of their unique 3-hour Public Sails. Help raise sails and take a turn at the wheel as they explore Puget Sound and learn from the crew it’s unique marine environment and the history of Adventuress.

Girls at the Helm Summer Program
When: July 10 – 13, 2018
The goal of this program is to provide an engaging, fun and supportive environment for middle school and high school girls. The program allows them to build confidence, embrace challenges, improve their communication, teamwork and leadership skills, get to know and learn from role models in STEM, and become stronger environmental stewards.
On this four-day voyage, girls will be teamed up with women mentors who are experts in science, the environment and other fields. This trip will include sailing adventures, as well as specific activities dedicated towards leadership development and STEM. This program will depart from Seattle and end in Anacortes.
Fantastic Voyage
When: August 5 – 10, 2018
The goal of this co-ed program is to provides teenagers space to be themselves in a fun, dynamic and healthy co-ed environment that supports all differences, embraces meeting new people, expands comfort zones, builds confidence and competence, models teamwork and responsibility, and provides strong crew role models with respect to environmental stewardship and community. This co-ed program offers a fun-filled week aboard Adventuress for teens who are first time – or experienced sailors. Teens will explore the San Juan Islands, serve as crew, and learn about the ecology of Puget Sound.
