She most recently received the 2015 People’s Choice as Emerging Designer for Portland Fashion and Style Awards. She has been designing fashion and producing art since she was five years old.

As for the inspiration behind Purple, she says, “What began as a fundraising fashion show, ended up as an event to provide paying opportunities and exposure for for emerging fashion designers, models, hair and makeup artists, photographers, and runway production staff…..The show has grown into not only the exposure and opportunity for emerging designers and artists, but also a way to bring awareness to local businesses through their demographic customer by sponsoring Paint the Runway Purple fashion show. It’s all about helping each other for a good cause.”
