Bastille Café & Bar in Seattle’s trendy Ballard neighborhood was born of the admiration owners Deming Maclise and James Weimann love for café culture. Their vision of creating a neighborhood hang out where people could eat, drink, talk and enjoy life led them to spend countless hours scouring France and the US for the “bones” of Bastille. The beautiful space is a feast for the eyes, filled with artifacts found both near and far, from the iconic Parisian Metro Clock in the Café to the luminous chandelier that hangs in the Back Bar.
Bastille is hosting their annual tiki party, Easy Polynésie, on their patio this Thursday, June 21, 2018!

The party will be complete with Stoup Brewing beers for $7, Plantation Rum cocktails for $10 and a whole roasted pig and salmon poisson cru from Chef Jason Stoneburner along with Hama Hama oysters. In addition, attendees can enjoy surf flicks in the back bar, tropical sounds from DJs Paces Lift and Noel Brass Jr, a raffle with prizes from Sub Pop Records, Captive Spirits Distilling, Lib Tech Surf, Ethan Stowell Restaurants, and much more!
The event will raise money for Warm Current, to send Washington Makah, Quileute and Hoh tribal kids to surf camp! The Warm Current mission is to drive personal development and create healthy, active lifestyles for youth through surfing. Warm Current runs yearly one-day surf camps in communities all along the Oregon, Washington and California coast. These surf camps are free of charge and open to all youth in the local community.
