Flywheel Sports, the leading boutique fitness brand that pioneered putting technology on an indoor cycling bike and has been providing results-driven classes across the US, recently announced an extensive brand refresh and remodeling of its two Seattle-area locations in South Lake Union and Bellevue. The upgrades – from new equipment and bikes to a refurnished community space and presentation area – will encourage a positive and collaborative fitness experience for Seattle residents both on and off the bike.
“Seattle has always been one of Flywheel’s most active markets, so we wanted to completely upgrade our stadium and precision training spaces to provide the best workout experience in Seattle,” says Daniel Wilhelm, Regional Director, Northwest, Flywheel Sports. “This goes beyond new equipment and bikes. Flywheel’s Seattle studios will be rolling out the newest precision training class, FlyFIT, a workout aimed to strengthen your total body through the use of weights and HIIT drills. We know our Never Coasters will be thrilled with these improvements, and we encourage everyone to check them out.”

Flywheel is a complete full-body workout performed in a state-of-the-art indoor cycling stadium. It offers a variety of classes including Method, Flywheel’s signature high-intensity interval training ride; Power, a more challenging version of the signature Method ride with longer races, steeper hills and less recovery time between intervals; and Tempo; a rhythm-based ride incorporating athletic movements and Flywheel’s exclusive metrics. Through the use of the Torqboard, a large leaderboard at the front of the Stadium, athletes can compete anonymously with others in the room to push the limits of greater performance.
The refresh will allow both Seattle-area locations to join the 21 Flywheel studios nationwide to offer FlyFIT (Functional Intense Training), new off-the-bike total body workouts. FlyFIT incorporates heavy weights and high-intensity drills to create a strong and defined lower body, arms, back, chest and abs.

This studio refresh reflects the company’s dedication to a world-class boutique fitness experience rooted in technology that holistically supports on-and-off-bike precision training. The removal of Flywheel’s front desk and installation of a new community table creates a social, collaborative space for fitness-forward riders to meet. Additionally, Flywheel will aim to cultivate a tighter-knit community through a series of on-site events, offsite pop-up classes, and speaker series featuring local health and wellness experts.
While the South Lake Union studio will receive a full flagship transformation, the Bellevue studio also boasts key renovations such as new bikes, lighting and design upgrades.
