If you haven’t heard of The Score, then you need to turn on the tv, go to a local coffee shop or a professional sporting event, turn on your radio or just type in “The Score” on Google. Eddie Anthony and Edan Dover are EVERYWHERE! It’s so rare for me personally to discover a band and then like every.single.song they have recorded. I’m not even kidding, I pay for Pandora Premium (best decision ever) and when you type in The Score and all of their songs come up on the play list – I listen all the way through, multiple times. I do have some favorites, but I can’t emphasize enough how fantastic their music is.
Eddie Anthony (vocals and guitar) and Edan Dover (keyboard, producer, vocals) formed The Score in New York City in 2015 and were signed to Republic Records after their song, “Oh My Love,” was featured in an advertising campaign for ASDA Supermarkets in the UK.
Since then, I can only imagine how the ride has been. Ever seen this commercial? That’s their song, Unstoppable.
Check out more of their music here! You will soon be singing along and feeling like your own Legend who is Unstoppable. Their lyrics are both incredible and so relatable with my own life, with messages like hard work pays off in the end, keep moving forward even when people don’t believe in you and even walking on a tightrope trying to please everyone. Some of their songs make you feel so much joy, happiness and internal power (Higher, Glory, and Money Run Low are great workout songs) while others are so sad to listen to because you know that Eddie and Edan must have dealt with a lot of personal disappointment from others in their past.
Now that you have listened to them – get excited with me because they are coming to the Pacific Northwest! They will be hitting Seattle, Vancouver and Portland in October – so you need to go out there and buy tickets to see them now!
