Can Can Culinary Cabaret’s fourth annual winter show, Wonderland, is back, bringing a feast of glittery delight for all the senses!
The carnival of merriment has a cast of professional dancers and singers that swing from chandeliers, perform acrobatic feats, sing role-reversal Christmas songs (you’ll never think of Baby, It’s Cold Outside, in the same way ever again), and explode with amazingly choreographed dance numbers. For such an intimately small space that Can Can is – the dance execution is phenomenal. Best of all, the performers will keep you laughing all night long. Thank goodness for audience members willing to participate and twerk for our enjoyment! Kudos to the husbands in the audience for being such good sports on stage, you made the night that much more fun. If you truly want a break from all the sadness and anger that is outside of the little theater at Pike Place Market, plan a night at the Can Can to see Wonderland. And come hungry!
There is a reason why Culinary is in the title of Can Can Culinary Cabaret. May I just say, when you plan your night out, I highly recommend ordering the Ebenezer Scrooge meal. With French Onion Soup, Top Sirloin and a Coffee & Caramel Creme Brulee for dessert – your taste buds will explode with all of the flavors. The top sirloin filet sits on a bed of garlic and Parmesan mashes potatoes with a side of pan-seared broccolini, all drizzled with horseradish Bearnaise sauce – I’ll take another, thank you!
Wonderland is playing now through January 13, 2019 with family-friendly brunch shows and more risque burlesque shows on other evenings.
