It’s almost here!! My absolute favorite Seattle festival is almost here and I hope to see you all there.

The Elysian Brewmaster himself!

I moved to the Seattle area from Washington, DC in 2012 and every single year since I have lived here, I have attended the Great Pumpkin Beer Fest! It’s seriously one of the greatest events of all time for me. Why? Well, number one reason is I freaking LOVE pumpkin beer. I couldn’t care less about pumpkin spiced lattes. Give me all the pumpkin-flavored beer. All of it. Fall is the best season, as it brings crisp, cool weather, leaves that crunch underfoot and Elysian Brewing releases their Pumpkin Beer lineup. If you could have Thanksgiving in a bottle, that’s what their pumpkin beer does for me.

Years ago at an Elysian dinner, tasting all of the pumpkin beers. It was a heavenly night.

The Great Pumpkin Beer Fest is also a time to enjoy with your friends and the people watching never disappoints. I love the pumpkin-inspired costumes, the food trucks, the music and the mayhem that ensues when the giant gourd is tapped! I can hear “tap that gourd” in my head now as I write this. And seriously, the best part is that all the proceeds go to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. As someone who has seen cancer take the lives of those I love – this event means so much to me in so many ways.

Go for the giant pumpkin filled with beer!
Go for the costumes!

Here are all the details below – get your tickets now and let’s enjoy my favorite Seattle weekend together!
