Ahhh beer. It’s one of my most favorite beverages. I workout three to five times a week (depending on the week) and I eat relatively healthy – but beer is one reason why I will never have a true six pack on my stomach (minus the six pack of beer I may pick up at the grocery store, right?).

I just love good beer and I love writing about it (just see how often beer is mentioned on What’s Up NW here – it’s a lot!). For as many breweries as I have visited over the years, the science behind brewing has always fascinated me. I’ve even considered driving from my place in Seattle down to UW Tacoma to take a class in their Craft Beer Program (did you know that existed – how cool is that??)!

Until I enroll at UW, I’m going to head over the Pacific Science Center on Friday, October 18 for Brewology – will all my fellow beer enthusiasts join me?
Brewology is back, this year for a spooktacular Halloween event…dare we say Booology!
