Looking for the perfectly curated basket of delectable goodies to send to everyone in your Zoom wedding party?  Have a friend with a serious sweet tooth? Needing a thank you gift for the teacher that’s keeping your kid engaged? Does your whole team need a little morale boost? Well, say hello to Bite Society.

Founded by Lendy Hensley, Katy Carroll, and Shana Hicks, Bite Society offers a modern and captivating take on the classic gift basket from the dynamic team that was The City Catering Company.

“Bite Society is more than a pivot, it’s our new business,” said Lendy Hensley. “City Catering was one Seattle’s most sought after event caterers for over 20 years, and then everything came to a screeching halt last March. After some tears, we got to work and here we are. Amazed and moving forward.”

“We’ve been so inspired by all the creativity and collaborative energy in bringing Bite Society to life,” said Shana Hicks. “We started doing tastings in June and it hasn’t stopped. We are constantly expanding our offerings.”

Perfect for every occasion from virtual happy hours to birthdays and team building meetings to any random Tuesday, Bite Society gift baskets offer an array of high quality foods made in house, alongside thoughtfully sourced products. The Bite Society packaging showcases Americana tattoos on tins, jars, and boxes and the modern baskets are a handsome gray felt, easily repurposed for use around the house. An array of Bite Society gift cards are available to add to any order.

“We did a national search for a tattoo artist to work with to create our branding and logo,” said Katy Carroll. “We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome and the creativity the process continues to inspire in all of us.”

“Curating the gift baskets is like creating a mini event,” said Hensley. “We’ve incorporated one of our tried and true values from the catering days of presenting that perfect bite. Many of the baskets are designed with that bite in mind and providing the goods for people to find their own perfect bite.”

Bite Society sent me my own gift basket filled with goodies! My adorable basket (which I will be reusing time and time again for future picnics or as a decorative way to display items in my home) contained a Rise & Shine coffee mug and coffee, Up & At ‘Em tea, the Savory Cookie Collection (orange fennel), Gummy Grapefruits, Pickled Dilly Beans, Salsa Macha Chile Crisp and some fun stickers and coasters! Every single item in my basket is so delicious! A special shout out to that Salsa Macha: made with canola oil, chiles, onion, pepitas, garlic, sea salt, sugar, sesame seed, spices and citric acid, it’s one of the best salsas I have ever had (and if you know me, you know I love my salsa). This salsa is meant to complement all of your meals, from roast beef to ice cream – I cannot wait to try it with everything!

Bite Society currently offers over 34 gift baskets for every type of occasion that range from $39 to $395. Custom gift baskets and single products are also available. To learn more or place an order, visit https://hellobitesociety.com.
