Steel Cut Overnight Oats

  • Ingredients
    • Butter – 1 tablespoon 
    • Steel cut oats – 1 cup 
    • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon 
    • Hot water – 2 cups 
    • Milk – 1 cup 
    • Brown sugar – 2 tablespoons 
  • Process to Make
    • Collect the ingredients.
    • Place a medium-size pan on medium flame. Then add butter to it and swirl the pan in intervals until melted.
    • Add salt and steel-cut oats in the pan, and stir for 1 minute. Wait till the oats begin smelling toasty.
    • Add hot water to the pan and turn off the flame. Stir till the oats submerge in water. Then cover the lid tightly and leave overnight ( at least for 8 hours).
    • Once the oats soak all the water, remove the lid. Put the pan on medium flame. Add brown sugar and milk. Stir until the mixture begins simmering. 
    • Lower the flame and wait for the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes. Once you get the desired consistency, turn off the flame.

Your bowl of oats is ready. Add toppings, such as yogurt, pistachios, honey, grapefruit, or any topping of your choice.

Egg, Cheese, and Steak Bagel

  • Ingredients
    • Unsalted butter – 4 tablespoons ( divided)
    • Onion – 1 ( small and sliced )
    • Salt – 1 teaspoon ( divided )
    • Shaved steak – ½ pound 
    • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon 
    • Garlic powder – ½ teaspoon 
    • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon 
    • Bagels – 2 plain 
    • Eggs – 4 ( large size)
    • American cheese – 4 slices 
    • Steak sauce (optional ingredient)
  • Process to Make
    • Take a nonstick, small pan to melt one tablespoon of butter. Add ¼ teaspoon of salt and chopped onion to the pan. Saute till onions turn light brown. 
    • In the meantime, marinate the steaks with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. 
    • Put the onion out from the pan and transfer to a plate. Then put the pan on high flame and add an even layer of marinated steak. Do not stir it and wait for 2 minutes, till the steak becomes brown. Then stir the steaks, and let the steak cook for some time. 
    • Then take out the steak from the pan and mix with the onion. Cover the plate to keep the steak warm. 
    • Toast the bagels and spread a tablespoon of butter.
    • In another pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Prepare two omelets with 2 eggs and place 2 cheese slices on each.
    • Put equal steaks and onions on the 2 bagel halves. You can pair it with some omelets with cheese. 

At last, cover the bagel with their other halves and enjoy your breakfast.

Cream Cheese and Scrambled Eggs

  • Ingredients
    • Eggs: 4 
    • Cream cheese: 2 ounces divided into ½ inch chilled cubes 
    • Unsalted butter: 2 tablespoons 
    • Chives: 2 teaspoons (finely chopped)
    • Salt
    • Ground pepper
  • Process to Make
    • Take a large bowl. Put eggs in it and whisk until foamy.
    • Add some cheese cream to the eggs.
    • Take a pan, place it on a stove over medium flame to melt butter.

  • Ingredient
    • Egg – 3 eggs
    • Milk – 1 and ½ cups
