La Niña is bringing massive snow storms to the PNW mountains and is predicted to peak in January.- The cherry on top of a great pow day is a cold beer for après ski. With mountain ski resort finally open and cranking for the season, Elysian Brewing has new and beloved beers flowing for the end of the day.

 Elysian’s newest winter release, Skålrok (4.9% ABV), is a Nordic-style Pale Ale that provides a moderately sweet, slightly bitter, and subtle tart taste given the strong performance of malts and hops; but the real star in this group is the Kveik. This special yeast strain gives the brew a well-balanced flavor and a citrus-forward aroma that is ideal for après.
