Chewy, the leading destination for pet parents and partners everywhere, unveiled the “Ultimate Pet Portrait,” a new community mural in Capitol Hill on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Hand-painted by local artist, Ariel Parrow, the mural features portraits of eleven pets of longstanding Chewy customers from the greater Seattle area. Those customers and their equally amazing pets took center stage at the celebration, as they witnessed the large-scale paintings for the very first time. This is the third installment of Chewy’s “Ultimate Pet Portrait” series, inspired by the company’s beloved practice of surprising and delighting customers with personalized portraits of their pets. This heartfelt community gesture coincides with Chewy’s arrival in the region, as the company recently opened its newest headquarters in Bellevue.

Customer-centricity and social impact are core to Chewy’s mission, which is why volunteers from PAWS Seattle were featured guests as Chewy presented them with customized gift boxes filled with goodies for both people and pets. Extending gratitude to the broader pet community, Chewy has committed to donating $100,000 of pet food and supplies to Seattle-area animal shelters through its corporate Give Back program. Chewy Gives Back was created to ensure that all rescue animals get the quality care that they deserve. Since 2012, Chewy has donated nearly $100 million in resources to animal welfare organizations nationwide.

The Ultimate Pet Portrait is currently on public display at 1532 Broadway (the SE corner of Broward and East Pine). Pet lovers are encouraged to post photos with the mural and tag @Chewy for their chance to be featured on Chewy’s social media channels!
