The Astra Hotel Seattle, a new Tribute Portfolio property, today announced its July 2022 opening in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle. Situated close to scenic Lake Union, downtown shopping and dining and some of Seattle’s premier attractions, Astra Hotel looks forward to welcoming business and leisure travelers this summer.

The Astra Hotel is independently owned and operated by San Francisco-based Stanford Hotels Corporation. The hotel features modern art and captivating design with the intention of creating a vibrant social scene for guests and locals alike. From Caffé Ladro and Otium Grill & Greens on the ground floor to the breathtaking ALTITUDE Sky Lounge® on the top floor, guests will have amazing experiences throughout the hotel.

The 16-story Astra Hotel includes 265 contemporary guestrooms, all of which are furnished with large windows for natural light (many with views of the Space Needle or the downtown skyline), 65-inch TV’s with Google Chromecast, dedicated workspace and modern bathrooms complete with Jonathan Adler amenities. The hotel also offers a large, state-of-the-art, fitness center which is open around the clock with Peloton bikes, weights, kettlebells and Life Fitness equipment.

Capturing the notion of timeless innovation, the Astra Hotel looks back to the optimistic spirit of 1960s Seattle, while keeping an eye on the horizon for future inspiration. Guests will experience elements of modern architecture and details, including a refreshing, natural-light design and a lobby space with two bespoke art pieces made from dichroic panels that will change light and color throughout the day, created by international light artist Chris Wood.

On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by one of Seattle’s most celebrated coffee roasters, Caffe Ladro. The Take Away Gift Shop will provide visitors with a curated selection of local goods, including Theo Chocolates, Jones Soda, San Juan Seltzers and more. Grab a bite at Otium Grill & Greens, featuring a fresh menu with locally-sourced proteins, vegetables and grains. Head to ALTITUDE Sky Lounge® for Seattle’s newest rooftop bar experience, with stunning views of Seattle and Lake Union, craft cocktails, locally sourced charcuterie and an impressive selection of beer and wine. ALTITUDE® will feature a live DJ with music and entertainment on a weekly basis.
